WTF is LEAN&MEAN?
LEAN&MEAN is a satirical gangsters and cops anthology Web series, set in a contemporary Gotham-esque Berlin AKA “Burlean City”– mostly at night. In this universe, there are different groups and characters portrayed in an over the top and sometimes cliché manner.
The story mostly takes place during nighttime in this dark, dangerous, and hedonistic city. Various factions and characters in the series are all fighting for control of the powerful drug TROXX1E 🧪, derived from the hormone oxytocin and the neurotransmitter Serotonine. As they navigate the complex and often treacherous world of Burlean City, people crave love, belonging and safety more than ever. The place is dark, rough, nihilistic, insecure, dangerous, full TROXX1E 🧪 and noncommittal individualists.
There may be hope from some individuals who don’t want to take this anymore. A revolution is on the rise.

We are looking for people who’d like to get together in a writing think tank. The idea is to create a universe and a playground, so people can join and create. As a project of the Filmmakers & Movie Nerds Collective, there will be directors, DOPs, actors, editors to the ideas into moving images. If you are curious, good hearted, ambitious, a bit crazy and a movie nerd with love for creations please join.
